Chris Turner, D.M.A.

Dr. Turner has been in higher education for seventeen years and has served on the faculty of both religious and secular institutions.  During his tenure, he has taught students at every level; from the undergraduate level to the doctoral level.  His students include those who have gone on to have singing careers and others who have served as music teachers, church musicians, and even university voice professors and choral directors.

Prior to his career in higher education, he served as a church musician for twenty two years in various communities with a vast array of experience with vocal and instrumental ensembles of all types both large and small.
